Psychologist, M.A

Therapy is inner work, and inner work is scary.
But the beauty of therapy is that there is someone witnessing your pain, holding space for the emotions that are often not met with kindness by many others.
Some parts that are met with kindness, we learn to like. Others yet, we learn to despise. The therapist holds a space where you can explore all of these parts and emotions together, with kindness.
The therapist shows up for all parts of you and slowly you learn to show up for all parts too. Therapy is a safe space where two humans are having a shared connection, where the therapist lets another know they are not "too much." This shared sense of safety is what drew me to my personal therapy and to become a therapist as well.
